At E & K Kennels we believe everyone should be able to afford a new puppy that is healthy and well socialized. We have heard so many stories about people not getting a puppy because they do not have enough money for vet bills, spaying, and neutering. Most people do not like males marking everywhere and when a male is neutered before 6 months they should never mark. Then the problem with females not being spayed is unexpected breeding that can hurt your female especially if the male is too large, then the babies are too big to be born without a costly C-Section, and the animal shelters are full of abandoned puppies they receive everyday, and to reduce vet bills for you. We are going to have them spayed or neutered after 10 weeks old ,depending on the size of the puppy, at Catawba Valley Animal Hospital by Dr. Carlton 828-327-7100. If you would rather your puppy not be spayed or neutered just let us know before 10 weeks and we will gladly hold him/her with a deposit.
