BICHON FRISE

The Bichon Frise is a wonderful breed. They are very friendly and have very sweet personalities. They usually mature around 10-15 lbs. They do not shed. Their coat is all white double coat that has a soft and silky under coat and a coarse curly outer coat. They can have cream or buff shading on the coat the usually fades within the first year.

The Bichon Frise is sensitive, responsive, affectionate, and abundantly playful. It is a perky, jumpy, happy dog that loves companionship and is happy to cuddle up. Bichon Frises have an easy, happy disposition.

They have great temperaments and are always eager to make friends with strangers, other dogs, and they love children.

The Bichon Frise does need to go to the groomers about every 4-6 weeks. They need brushed every day to keep their hair from knotting and getting matted. The hair around the eyes needs to be kept cut out and the hair in the ears needs to be pulled out. The hair in the feet needs to be trimmed ever 4-6 weeks as well.

Bichons are very smart dogs and learns new tricks easily. They are very easy to house train as long as you crate train them.

Bichon Frises are active dogs and need daily excersie.  Even though they are small they enjoy playing vigorous indoor games and they like romping in the yard. They do enjoy going on short walks.
