The Chorky is a mix between the intelligent and graceful Chihuahua with the lively and bold Yorkshire Terrier. They are very playful puppies and love companionship. They are good for families with older children due to their small size. They need to be socialized well with people and other dogs. As long as they grow up with the children in the family they do fine.
They may shed little to none. Their coat can be short or long hair. They need to be brushed every day and baths are only recommended bi weekly.
They are very intelligent and can learn almost anything. Though sometimes can be a little stubborn due to the terrier back ground. They are very bold and brave little dogs that fear almost nothing.
They need little exercise just to be able to run around in the house or romp in the back yard satisfies them. They like to play fetch and love chasing small toys.
