Country of Origin: The Schnoodle is a cross between a Schnauzer and a Poodle. Any of the three recognized sizes of Schnauzer or Poodle may produce a schnoodle. We produce Schnoodle by breeding a pure breed Miniature or Toy Schanuzer to a pure breed Toy Poodle which produces a first generation schnoodle WE BREED FIRST GENERATION ONLY.
Size: The Schnoodle can weigh in at 10-16 lbs. We also have toy schnoodles that weigh any where from 6-9 lbs.
Coat: The Schnoodle may have a rough wirey coat like the Miniature Schnauzer, a soft fluffy coat like the Toy Poodle, or a variation in between. There are a wide varity of colors including black, brown, grey, white, apricot, or a mixture thereof. Puppies of the same litter may have coats of a differnt color and texture. The schnoodle sheds none at all.
Character: The Schnoodle has the Poodle's intelligence and loyalty and devotion of the schnauzer. It is alert,loving, and playful. The Schnoodle makes a good companion and family pet. It is smart enough to determine when you're preparing to leave.
Temperament: The Schnoodle gets along well with children, dogs, and other pets. The Schnoodle is a typically happy breed which enjoys being with its family.
Care: The Schnoodle requires only weekly brushing and grooming a few time a years. Some longer hair is tyically left on the face. Ear hair sould be trimmed occasionally to prevent ear infection. Bathe only as necessary. The Schnoodle has a life span of 12-16 years.
Training: The Schnoodle enjoys walks. Schnoodles enjoy fetching and tug of war. Many like to swim.
